Audiobooks are a big part of my life! I am a delivery driver for the outreach department of my local library, and since my job involves a lot of driving as well as packing and unpacking library materials, that leaves lots of opportunities for listening. Celebrity memoirs are my favorites to listen to, but audiobooks helped me unlock fantasy as a genre to enjoy; seeing the Author's made up words and terminology didn't work for me on a page, but I take it in so much easier through hearing them.

I dream of having a driving-based job sometimes for that very reason!! And I can totally get that re fantasy. It's so funny how sometimes I read a book physically and have this feeling of "hmmm how do you pronounce that" and then I read a book through audio and have this feeling of "hmmmm how do you spell that."

I'm Suzanne Finstad's next subject :( "Her closet stuffed with various tote bags, housing clothes that needed mending, but wouldn't be brought to the tailor for another 12 months. The forgotten bags a simple metaphor for her lazy ass."

If she can spend 1,000 pages slut-shaming a teenage Priscilla Presley, I truly think she can tackle anything!

I love a good audiobook! I once had a very mindless, tedious spreadsheet job and I would blow through a book a day. It was especially good for light books where you could check out for a minute and still follow the plot. (I did a lot of Agatha Raisin)

I've heard of people having jobs like that and have always been SO jealous!! An audiobook a day!

It was pointless and boring and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
